ushering the kids was very fun...

i had a fun-filled day at CHIJ St Nicholas Girls & the padang yesterday...the girls were bubbly and active and the atmosphere in a all girls sch is so different..the close bonding between the girls and the teachers was something that i admire of..the sch was very big...lost my way when i first got there yesterday..i didnt know there was a back and front gate..i was at the back gate so all i saw was the running track and the grand stand..i had to figure out which was the primary sch block...i tried making my own way there asking a few students whom i saw along the way..so it took me 15min to reach the hall and i think that i had probably combed the entire sch compound..

i love the kids from 5 Wisdom cos i followed their bus during the journey to the padang...one of the teacher-in-charge was a young male teacher...chatted with him on during the bus journey..he told me that his girlfriend quit studying accountancy after 8mths..accountancy has always been having a high casualty rate..and he was talking me into going into teaching ..haha..

the interesting part abt the girls was that they get so excited upon seeing boys from other schs..during our journey to the padang, our bus stopped beside another bus with kids from HuaMin primary..the girls all went wild when they saw the boys from that sch waving to them...they started making fun of each other..the trip was very fun...i exchanged hp no. with the kids and i'm kinda jealous of them cos most of them own a hp that was way better than mine..i even saw one kid from another sch listening to an i-pod shuffle..."the tech-savvy kids"

every sch had an army officer following them...most of them were my age cos my friend asked one of the officer...tint i saw a few familiar faces..but everyone seem to look the same in the army uniform...so i also wasnt too sure..my army officer still not bad..we simply just tell him wad we need and he'll get for us...my job was simple - to look after the kids...so had to bring them to the toilet..had to get them seated down...had to make sure they're all well..it wasnt that bad after all..i love kids...

the NDP show was pretty okie...i saw kym ng at the backstage...she was very friendly waving to me and the few st nick's girls who were with me...

the whole of yesterday, i only had a box of char siew rice for breakfast at home and a gardenia bun at the stadium..so by the time i got back to st nicholas, which is at ang mo kio, i was starving..i didnt wanna eat the dinner pack they provide...i saw there was baked beans and a bun...not sure wad else is in there...i onli took the bottle of H-Two-O...they offered ice-cream too...i had my supper along at ang mo kio while waiting for my friend to head home together...

oh...a gentle reminder...if anyone of you going for the NDP at the padang, try not to go to the toilet too often...it stinks horribly.........
